100th Day Poster

100th Day Poster

So for first grade, my daughter had to have a 100th day poster with at least 100 items or whatever on it. She wanted to do a garden with flowers, a sun, and green grass. So that is what it is. There are 100 stickers on the poster. The teacher sent home a letter saying use what you want blah, blah, blah. Some kids used pennies...PENNIES. Sorry, I am not letter her take a poster with 100 pennies to school.

Timeline School Project

Here is a project my daughter and I made together for her first grade school project. It's wrinkled because I took the picture AFTER she came back home with it instead of before. Look closely you can tell she did the work. I bought the supplies and freehand the gumball machine. She cut the circles, glued, etc. Also, she traced and cut out the letters of her name using big bulletin board letters and scrapbook paper in her favorite colors.

I think it turned out really cute. We were flipping though a bulletin board book, and she just had to have the gumball machine. You lift the gumballs going down the middle, and it tells the events of her 6 year old life. Not much to talk about. LOL! The coin slot (my mom & her) and bubble gum retriever (her current picture) can be lifted as well. Is the place where the gumballs come out called a retriever? Who knows?!!! You get the point.

Birthday Card

Happy 49th Birthday Card

I don't make cards that often, because I get tied up doing a lot of other things. I do make it a point to stay in contact with my family. I sent this card to my mom last year. She loved it. She called me so "happy." Literally awaken me out of my sleep I thought something was wrong. We don't live in the same city. We are actually about 4 hours away from each other. That reminds me I am so ready to move back close to home.

This is a picture of the card and the inside. It was simple but thoughtful. I only wish I had a Silhouette, Cameo, Cuttlebug, and/ CRICUT. I would be crafting everyday for EVERY occasion. I guess it's a good thing that I don't have one, yet.

Summer Journal

My daughter and I created a journal to help her with her writing. I made a journal jar for her to pull prompts from everyday. Sometimes she writes twice a day so she can draw a picture. :) Cute incentive, I guess. After, I staple the prompt to the page. Here is some pictures of the journal and jar.

Scrapbook Card Box

So I love tutorials and pdfs. I came across a stationary card box on a website called Addicted to Stamping. This is a great tutorial. I don't have sticky strip adhesive. I used double sided tape. I hope mine doesn't fall apart. :) I know I will be using the box and making some for other people as gifts. I just wanted to try the tutorial. This is what mine looks like...Also, I have not made the cards yet, because as a mother "duties called." But as soon as I get the chance I will be making cards and posting the outcome. I am a fan of bright colors. (orange, pink, yellow, and red.)
